Cabbagetown Naturescape 2022
If you ever wished that Toronto's streets were lined with natural elements instead of cars, you're in luck: one street will soon be totally transformed to replace parking with a beautiful immersive naturescape.
We interrupt this moment in the never-ending news of multiple elections to bring you news of something beautiful, green, fresh and welcoming. The Cabbagetown Parkscape is coming soon, and will keep us all cool, green and shaded right through summer into early autumn.

TD FEF POP-UP Hamilton
It’s an exciting summer in Hamilton, to say the least! July is absolutely filled with events, and yesterday was no exception. An impactful initiative touched down in Hamilton. TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) celebrates its 25th anniversary by bringing urban pop-up parks to various Canadian cities this summer.
The summer of 2012 in Toronto saw the creation of a one-of-a-kind urban park experience from the collaboration between Adam Bienenstock (Park Designer/Builder), Urban Planner Robert Voigt, and sponsors ING Direct, Canadian Wildlife Federation, and Parks Canada.
